The Irish 31 iCare Foundation hosted a celebration honoring our remarkable teachers.
Zephyniis Wharton has spent her high school years saying yes to every opportunity she could find and that mindset helped shape her into the traditional valedictorian of Lakewood High School.
They dazzled the judges, earning an impressive array of first-, second-, and third-place awards in various categories.
The countdown is designed to prepare incoming students for the 2026 school year.
The district won three SUNSPRA Sunshine Medallion Awards of Excellence.
The mission of the Lakewood High School AVID program
is to close the opportunity gap by preparing all students
for college and career, with the goal of securing their success
in a global society.
